Find an Aboriginal Employment Centre / AHRDA
In Canada, 80 Aboriginal Human Resources Development Agreement Holders (AHRDAs) deliver labour market programming in over 400 locations. Each AHRDA (employment centre) serves as the most direct source to help Aboriginal people with their employment, training, and job search requirements. These community-level agreements with Aboriginal organizations throughout Canada are flexible to ensure that Aboriginal organizations have authority to make decisions that will meet the needs of their communities.
The AHRDAs are a key component in the federal government's Aboriginal Human Resources Development Strategy, which was designed by Human Resources and Social Development to expand the employment opportunities of Aboriginal people across Canada.
